Hey, I’m Chris
I help bloggers like yourself with the technical setup and maintenace of your WordPress blog, email marketing, and more…
How Blog Tech Support Started
Blog Tech Support wasn’t started overnight and I kinda fell into this business by accident. Here’s how I will help you and how I got started.
My 1st Online Business
My very first online business was actually an online erotic store that never got from the ground.
Although I know it was a very profitable niche to be in, I didn’t know anything about online marketing and I ended up paying a lot of money on Google ads, without them converting at all.
This was all back in 2010. My goal back then was already that I wanted to move to Thailand, and by starting an online business, I could make money online from anywhere in the world, while living anywhere I want.
My First Blog
Those who know me, know I’m married to my wife in Thailand and eversince we met, we agreed that we would want to live together in Thailand.
Since my passion for Thailand, I signed up for an online course on blogging and that’s when my very first blog started, In love with Thailand.
But as many, I had the shiny object syndrome and I never wrote more than 3 articles for that blog and jumped to other ideas.
Believe me, the best way to succeed is to focus on 1 project at a time and make it work.
Inlovewiththailand.com still exists right now and I am planning on working on that in the near future.
Way too long in learning mode
Over the years I started and stopped many blogs and I figured out that I am the passionate about learning all of the technical things of starting and running a blog.
Even this domain, blogtechsupport.com, I purchased a couple of years ago, but let it go. Once I decided I wanted to buy it again, it got bought up by someone else and I could buy it back for $2000, which is something I would never do.
In 2023, this domain got available again and I decided to buy it and setup a basic WordPress website on it.
Over the years, I helped a lot of people with fixing tech issues on their blog, but I did that as a hobby and never asked money for it.
And it wasn’t until last year, when I had someone reach out to me, asking me to fix their website and she actually paid me $200 for only 45 minutes of work. That was when I got this A-HA moment and got rid of the hourly wage mindset that you have when you work a 9-5
People don’t pay for your time,
but to fix an immediate problem!
Full dedication to helping you succeed with your blog.
Eversince my first client last year, I got the taste of making money online, by helping people with their blog. And I’m very proud to say that in the year of 2024, I made a total of €2460.
This is before taxes, but still. This makes me super excited for the future of Blog Tech Support
For 2025 and forward, my goal is to help you learn more about the technical things of running your blog, upload more Youtube videos to teach you things on WordPress, Google Analytics and Search Console, email marketing tools, and much more.
And yes, I’m still doing this next to my 9-5, but since I do this out of a passion of mine, this doesn’t feel like work and as with many of you, my goal is to replace this for my 9-5 so that I can move to my wife in Thailand and start our lives together.
And of course, I’m going to publish much more content here on this blog.
If you know me already, you know I’m always just 1 message away and love helping you move forward.
